These spectacular plush bears redefine the meaning of soft.  Made of cruelty-free huacaya alpaca fur in a variety of colors and patterns, the bears are the perfect gifts for so many occasions. 

Lanart has been making these extraordinary toys since 1979 and its special tanning process and skilled artisans produce a uniformly high-quality product.  Each bear is lovingly stuffed and stitched by hand in Lanart's fair-trade workshops in Peru.

  • Sizes, fur texture, and fur colors are approximate due to the handmade nature of these items. We are unable to send pictures of the individual bears in stock or guarantee a particular bear.
  • Bear size is measured from the middle of the head to the bottom of the feet while bear is laid flat.
  • Made of fine alpaca fur with an embroidered nose and safety eyes that meet USA & European Toy Safety Standards
  • Fair Trade from Peru, cruelty-free alpaca fur
  • Do not machine wash; Spot clean with damp, clean cloth.

These beautiful animals are hand-made, heirloom collection-quality items and make great companions for those who play gently—please avoid rough and tumble play, tugging, stretching, etc. Not suitable for children under 3 years.

Since 1979, LANART has been working with alpaca and fair trade practices from their own Latin heritage in Peru to create beautiful and unique hand crafted, cruelty-free products based in Arequipa. They have stayed true to the hand knitting traditions passed down through generations, taking great care to value the symbiotic relationship with the artists that make their products and to weave the Peruvian culture and community of Areqiupa into everything they do.
