Helen Howe

Helen Howe Hand-Knit Shawl, Beanie and Wrist Warmers

$314.00

This trio of hand-knit accessories was designed by the talented Helen Howe and knit by our expert handknitter Jane from our Sorpresa's gorgeous fleece.  We asked Helen to design a suite of accessories inspired by our own beautiful Hudson Valley and she designed a shawl, wrist warmers, and beanie with a unique basketweave pattern, reminiscent of the taped seats of Shaker chairs.  Sold separately, each is a farm-to-shop treasure.

  • Hand-knit in Acton, MA by Jane
  • Designed in London by Helen Howe
  • 100% alpaca
  • Fiber grown at Green River Hollow Farm and spun at America's Natural Fiberworks in Somerville, Ohio
  • Helen Howe is a distinguished fashion and textile designer, renowned for her specialization in knitwear. She is an alumna of the prestigious Royal College of Art, which propelled her into an international career in womenswear and textile design. Characteristic of her design approach is the reinterpretation of classical and historical themes through a lens of fantasy. She uniquely blends traditional hand techniques with modern technology, crafting dynamic and innovative designs.
